Your everyday food
Let me roll the ball~
Singapore can be found on the map if you know where asia is or HERE.
It have gain independence since 1965(by Mr. Lee Kwan Yew current MM"Minister Mentor") from Malaya(now Malaysia)
Singapore has gone through quite a fair bit of turmoil after independence (which country doesn't).
The most memorable is the Racial Riot Between the Malays and the Chinese. It was a bloody one.
From that incident, Singapore learned that racial harmony is very important that explain every year we have celebrate racial harmony by cross dressing (not what you think!) cross cultural dressing and events on the various racial group.
Majority is Chinese and Malays, followed by indians and singhs.
- End of part 1 intro -
Foods - How we connect people around the world
In Singapore, we have all varieties of food from different ethic group.
Local flavour - Peranakan Dishes
- haha so much to wirte but dont know where to start.... -

ZOMG!
can't believe you added this in! (I can believe it actually) well now too much to contribute since some of the food my mom cooks (she from Thailand) is somewhat suspect. I don't know about you but a form of delicacy in thailand is the larvae (eggs) of some kind of ant that dwells in trees which is actually found in asian super markets and its canned. I don't know how to contribute to this culture exchange quite yet since there so much culture in the U.S. and the culture around me so I think of more later.

I just check on the quota of the gallery and I realised we are left with only 20% more to go.
Any free gallery/storage space/blogging we can park our photos there?
Well, I do have this MULTIPLY
I find that it is better than friendster/facebook etc..
Its simple to use and the best part.
THERE IS NOT QUOTA on how much pics you wanna put up!

Perú Perú, what can i say about it XD
Well i glad this topic is opened so i can talk about my enormous culture, there have been a lot of cultures here, from the well known Incas (Macchu Picchu) to ppl of Caral, first civilization in America 4500 b.c.
Apart from that, here lies the most variety climates of the world owning most of them cuz of the geography, from the dessert coast to the tallest trees in our black forest, to the one of the highest mountains in South America as Huascaran...
Some ppl said we were a vagabond sitting in a gold chair... and thats right, its a pity but some ppl just think for themselves (politicians) and some others also, thats why we ´ve still been subddeveloped country, cuz they dont realise how wonderful things we can get when working together just as we do here in the Guild as a example.
Well I keep hoping to post more about theese issues...
Ur friend BodySnatcher or VoySnatcher and soon BodyVoy (yeah another alt) =P

Re: Your everyday food
Malaysia is just an island, which is divided into east and west malaysia by the south china sea. Singapore is just south of West Malaysia. (So our food are almost the same.) The racial riot, we have them in 13 May 1969, and we arent allowed to mention it, until most recently. Malays make up majority here, followed by the chinese, Indians, Nyonya-Baba, Ibans, Kenyans, Kadasans,Bidayuh.... actually there are lots of ethnics among the native people.
About the weather, it's hot here. And there's lots of colombus rain. There's monsoon twice in a year.
I will promote my hometown kolomee. It's actually dry noodles. After putting it in hot water until it's cook, it's mixed with fried small onion and chasiew oil (red pork meat oil). (It's not halal for muslim) It's simple, but real cheap and good to the taste buds. ^^
And from sarawak, there's the rice wine (or tuak). I have it one, when i visited the Bidayuh, it taste like shandy.
